Amazing lunch at Seashell Anna nagar during our short stay in chennai. Place has got amazing seafood and meat collection in Arabian, Bbq and Kerala styles. We tried Samak Tawa fish and Karimeen polichadhu. Both were amazing. Large Bbq prawns was best among what we ordered. Mutton biriyani was subtle and not spicy. Finished off with jack fruit ice cream which was average. Shd have gone with faloodas but not a lot of place to tuck it in .. lol. Will definitely visit the place again when we are in chennai.

See all on GoogleI recently visited Savoury Seashell Restaurant, and it turned out to be a truly satisfying dining experience. We started with Crispy Cauliflower and Samak Meshwi (catfish). Both were delicious, but the Samak Meshwi was the absolute standout. The fish was perfectly grilled, juicy, and packed with flavour — easily one of the best grilled fish dishes I’ve had. The crispy cauliflower was equally impressive, crunchy on the outside and well-seasoned. For the mains, I paired Kerala Paratha with Murg Musallam (half), and it was a complete taste bomb. The paratha was soft and flaky, complementing the rich, flavourful gravy of the murg musallam beautifully. Every bite was indulgent and satisfying. The Fish Biriyani was also delicious, with well-cooked rice and nicely spiced fish. The Chicken Fried Rice was perfectly cooked, with balanced flavours and just the right seasoning. Overall, the food quality was excellent, especially the grilled fish and murg musallam. Definitely a place worth visiting if you enjoy flavourful seafood.
The restaurant offers delicious non veg food of all types continental, Chinese, Arabian, Barbeque, Indian north and south. Don't miss the sea food in. The restaurant has Valet parking facility and three floors for a comfortable seated dining experience. Even during peak hours you don't have to wait for tables.
Visited on a Sunday evening around 7:30 PM during iftar time, but luckily got a seat easily. We were 15 people and ordered Tandoori Platter, Peri Peri Chicken, Mutton, Chicken & Prawn Biryani, along with Butter Naan, Butter Kulcha and Egg Parotta. Almost everything tasted great and the prices are cheaper compared to Samco and Buhari. The Tandoori Platter is ₹1925 (around ₹2500 at Abid’s) and Mutton Biryani is ₹355 (₹419 at Samco). Good taste, great price – definitely worth a try! 👍🍗🍽️
Really appreciate the Valet parking. It so happened that we were 8 and were returning from an event. We stopped here for lunch and came by cars. Imagine, just a table full of guys in 6 different cars. Valet parking guys did an amazing job. Food was good. I liked Peri Peri Chicken and Chilli Paneer. Desserts were good too... Rose Kiss was no way related to rose flower or color. Stick to Falooda.
