The P & T Staff Qrs Masjid is located in a prime area known as Balaji Nagar in Mirsahibpet, Chennai. The Masjid is located inside the Postal Colony and it very calm and quiet. People can offer prayers on this Masjid peacefully without any diversions or disturbances. Perhaps this is the only Masjid conducting Jumma Prayers on Fridays at 2- 30 PM. A lot of students, office goers, business people and the general public find it convenient to go to this Masjid for offering Jumma Prayers. The Masjid was renovated and constructed very nicely a few years back.

It's a small mosque in a shed like atmosphere. Juma (Friday) prayers happen at 2.15 pm which is very convenient for people

Jumma jamath time is 2:30, which is quite late comparatively so if you are late you can offer jumma here

Very good,in the open air with parking facility.very convenient time for after noon namaz at 2:30pm.
