I found this place while shopping and tried the chocolate croissant and peach danish. The chocolate croissant was a bit of a letdown; the croissant was not crispy and the filling was strange. However, the peach danish was fresh and delicious, especially the centre-filling of vanilla custard. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making good recommendations when asked. It’s a good place for a quick bite or dessert, but don’t expect anything extraordinary.

See all on GoogleLakeview: The OG place of bangalore where everyone goes (ofcourse after dining at Empire) for desserts. A lot has changed over the years but the vibe remains the same. Situated right on MG road it is a must visit when in bangalore. The now also serve croissants along with loads of other sweet stuff
Visited Lakeview Milk Bar and it turned out to be a perfect dessert stop! We tried the sizzling brownie with vanilla ice cream, German Black Forest special, an ice cream cake, and waffles with ice cream — and honestly, everything tasted amazing. The sizzling brownie was the highlight, warm, gooey, and paired perfectly with the melting vanilla ice cream. The German Black Forest special was rich and flavorful, and the waffles with ice cream were fresh, crispy, and super satisfying. Even the ice cream cake was delicious and creamy. Definitely one of the best places to enjoy desserts in the city. Worth every penny and a must-visit if you have a sweet tooth!
We went to Lakeview Milk Bar on a Saturday afternoon. It was fairly empty. They have a ground floor where one can do take out or stand and eat and a dine-in area on the first floor with 9-10 tables. We tried three scoops of ice cream, vanilla, alphonso mango and chocolate noir. Vanilla and Mango were okay but the chocolate ice cream was disappointing. It was a bit too icy. In general, I expected the ice cream to be creamier and smoother. The service was fine when we were there, there wasn't much crowd. Overall, there are better options around I feel.
Visited on 5th May and took a parcel home—ordered the chocolate-filled croissant, pain au chocolat, and double chocolate brownie for ₹650. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great. Both the croissant and pain au chocolat had a strange soapy taste from the first bite, which was quite off-putting. The croissant filling also didn’t taste like chocolate—it felt more like an overly sweet caramel. I don't know why it tasted like soapy Even our family members tasted it and felt the same. The brownie was average in taste, but it was slightly burnt at the bottom, which affected the overall experience. Overall, quite disappointing for the price.
