See all on GoogleI ordered lunch from Imperial Restaurant for my team members who were visiting from Mumbai, and unfortunately it turned into a very embarrassing and disturbing experience. In the Butter Chicken Masala, we found a cockroach inside the curry. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the hygiene and food safety standards of this restaurant. When I contacted the restaurant to report this issue, instead of taking proper responsibility, they said they would only refund the butter chicken amount, not the entire order. When such a serious hygiene issue occurs, this kind of response is very disappointing. I ordered food for guests visiting from another city, trusting the restaurant’s quality, but this incident was embarrassing and shocking in front of my team. Restaurants must maintain basic cleanliness and proper kitchen hygiene to ensure food safety. I strongly hope the management takes this seriously and improves their standards so that no other customer faces such an experience. Very disappointed.
Imperial Restaurant in Bengaluru is a go-to place if you’re a fan of non-veg food, especially kebabs and biryani. It’s been around for decades and has a strong reputation for tasty, budget-friendly meals. The biggest highlight is the food — dishes like chicken kabab, grilled chicken, and ghee rice are crowd favorites and known for good flavor. The menu is quite wide, covering North Indian, Mughlai, Chinese, and more, so there’s plenty to choose from. The pricing is reasonable, making it popular among students and families looking for filling meals without spending too much. On the downside, the ambience is pretty basic and can feel crowded, especially during peak hours. Service is usually quick but may feel rushed when it’s busy. Some outlets also vary in cleanliness and consistency. 👉 Verdict: Great place for tasty, affordable non-veg food — especially kebabs. Not ideal if you’re looking for a premium dining experience, but perfect for casual outings and late-night cravings.
Visited today for food. Taste was okay, but the portion size was disappointing. Food is served in very shallow metal bowls, so the actual quantity feels much less than what you pay for. For the price, I expected better value. Management should consider using deeper bowls or increasing quantity. Hope they improve this.
Not worthy when it comes to quality, quantity and the atmosphere as well. We have ordered CB, MB, Sahwarma and Lassi as well as Mosambi juice. The only thing was good is Mango lassi. The mossmabi juice was not Fresh and Mutton biryani was worst got 2 small pieces that too not cooked properly. Chicken biryani was Ok Ok and Mango lassi is Good. Table was not too cleaned flies around
